ACC.21 Moving to All Virtual

ACC.21 Moving to All Virtual

Dear Colleagues,

As planning for a hybrid ACC.21 kicked into high gear last year, the College was hopeful that delaying the meeting until the Spring would allow an opportunity for ACC and its membership to safely reconnect in Atlanta, GA, for the 70th Annual Scientific Session & Expo. Unfortunately, with the continued presence of COVID-19 and a sudden, sharp increase in ongoing travel restrictions imposed by health care institutions, academic medical centers and exhibitor companies, the decision has had to be made to transition the meeting from a hybrid model to entirely virtual.

While we are saddened that we will need to wait another year before seeing everyone in person, plans for ACC.21 are continuing but as an all virtual experience! Building on the success of last year’s meeting, ACC.21 will be a world-class program delivered through an innovative digital platform built for learning, collaboration, and networking. ACC.21 will also offer a robust virtual Expo with both exhibits and education from our signature Learning Destinations and, last but not least, more opportunities for you to engage and interact with your colleagues from around the world.

Stay tuned for more details as the ACC.21 Program Committee works to finalize the line-up of sessions. For additional information, please review our FAQs, which will be updated as planning continues.

Thank you for all that you do every day to serve your patients and your communities and we look forward to reconnecting virtually with all of you in May.

Sincerely,

Pamela B. Morris, MD, FACC
ACC.21 Chair

Douglas E. Drachman, MD, FACC
